Great pen, my favorite. One of the best things about this pen is that it requires no pressure to write like with many other pens like ballpoints. The pen look very smart but its also very functional and very nice to write with.

The whole pen is made of metal apart from some of the ink system which makes the pen look very modern and smart. The grip is etched into the metal and feels very nice to write with. When the cap is posted, this pen is very well balanced. The nib is smooth (I chose the fine nib) and the ink does not stop and start like some cheaper fountain pens.

In terms of the features that every pen has, they are very good and well designed such as the clip which is not a thin piece of metal that bends to hold onto your shirt which can easily become permanently bent, but is sprung which is far better.

I have not had to change the cartridge yet as it is very large and contains lots of ink but when the pen arrived I had to put it in and that was all very easy.

I would not really recommend this pen to people worried about smudging as the ink takes quite a few seconds to dry.

An extremely good pen at a reasonable price. I would recommend all Lamy pens (I have a few).

I have this pen with an extra-fine nib and it is the one that I reach for almost all the time now. The pen itself is sleek, stylish, and discreet - some people have a problem with anybody using a fountain pen as they think it's affected in some way, but the Logo never attracts attention. It writes beautifully and the weight feels good in my hand. I am buying another now as I would like to have a choice of ink colours without having to use an inferior pen!

Having ordered this as a replacement for a classic pen that was too unreliable in terms of its ink run to be useful for notes or, more importantly, exams, I am most pleased.

The pen itself is surprisingly light, about the same weight (if not lighter) than another Lamy pen I had in the past (a medium-nibbed Safari). It looks and feels fairly high quality. In terms of writing, I was right to choose the fine nib due to my small handwriting, and it seems to be fairly well balanced when the cap is pushed on to the back. This also has the advantage of making the pen a little longer; the length is not too much of a problem for me, but I suspect it could for individuals with bigger hands.

The only other comment to make is one about which I cannot decide is a positive or negative. My pen came with a Z26 converter already inside. This was most kind of the company, although it does not appear to have been mentioned in the product description, so I wasted £3 buying one separately in the belief the pen would come on its own.

Overall, very happy.

This is a good fountain pen. It writes smoothly, the ink flows at just the right rate, the top fits onto the pen with a satisfying click, on top of that it looks good and fits nicely in my hand, not too long or too short. A couple of criticisms:
- the barrel needs to be re-screwed every so often as it works itself loose when writing. Not a big problem but annoying.
- the chrome is coming off the end of the barrel where the cap fits when you are writing with it.
