5.0 out of 5 stars A disturbing but excellent look at the life of Phoolan Devi, 20 Jul 2009
I saw this when it first came out and it has stood the test of time - groundbreaking Indian cinema. It is a courageous film that looks at the life of Phoolan devi - an extraordinary woman dacoit. It has not been updated to tell you what happens in the end - or how she eventually died but it is a beautifully crafted, hard hitting film.
