I loved this cartoon when it was first shown on British TV in the early 1990's, so I thought I'd check out one of the DVD volumes to see if it still stands up today - and it does!

It's very funny, especially the words Captain Haddock comes out with!, they are all great adventures and the animation is above cheapo kids animation that so often spoils shows you loved when you were a kid but find to be rubbish now.

Anchor Bay have done an excellent job on the disc. The picture has been remastered and the sound is clear and crisp. It's all good value with four 40 minute episodes packed across the two discs, so what more could you want? Buy it because you remember it from your childhood, buy it because you like the books or buy it for your kids! Whatever your excuse, just buy it!
