Product Description

Product Description

The second PostSecret book, My Secret, focuses on the compelling and personal messages that have been sent in by college students from around the world. Raw and revealing, these secrets express the hopes, fears and wildest confessions of young people everywhere. 'This year, I overcame my fear of sleeping with the closet open. I'm 22;' 'People don't change ... They just find new ways to lie to you;' 'If I charged the people I babysit for by the scream, I'd be rich;' 'I'm a cheerleader, but secretly I deal drugs;' 'Every time I'm on the phone to my parents, I have to poop.' These are just a few of the confessions that move, amuse and make the reader think. Each confession is powerful piece of artwork that ensures My Secret is a completely fascinating and rewarding read.

5.0 out of 5 stars How could the same idea be so diffrent?, 20 Nov 2006
By S. Hudson (Leicestershire, UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Yes i am a great fan of the postsecret books, so i was eagrly anticipating the release of this one. Firstly let me say that amazon deleivered it a full month before their own delivery estimate, i don't know how they did it, but they did. That for my money is incredible service. On to the book, when i first read this one i was slightly dissapointed, i was expecting it to be the same as the extrodinary secrets from odinary lives book but i felt that there were subtle diffrences. However since then, having gone back to read it again, although to many people it is exactly the same type of book you have to look at it from a diffrent perspective. This book focuses on the feelings of younger people and it shows. There is just a completly diffrent appeal to reading it and sharing in these peoples feelings. Please, if you only give one present this chritmas, make sure it is this one. For anybody you know. Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Best friend, Mum, Grnadparents or secret santa. Just buy it and you won't be dissapointed and if you are just read it again, because it is completly diffrent the second time of reading.
One last thing... why haven't you bought it yet?

4.0 out of 5 stars Artsy Secret Postcards, 2 Feb 2009
By M. R. J. Bishop "MR.JB" (Northern Ireland) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)

I really enjoyed flicking through this book. Every one of the pages has a one or two new pieces of art.

Some dark, sad or gritty, some happy and some inspirational.

A great collection of artwork :]

The only downside is that, its not a book really. Just for flicking. And very easy to flick through all at once.... I did....!
