Product Description

Product Description

Tokyo Tower is a communications and observation tower built in 1958, located in Tokyo, Japan. At 332.5 metres (1,091 ft), it is the second tallest artificial structure in Japan. The structure is an Eiffel Tower-inspired lattice tower that is painted white and international orange to comply with air safety regulations. FootTown, a 4-storey building located directly under the tower, houses museums, restaurants and shops and is visited by millions of tourists a year.

The nanoblock™ ‘Sights to See Collection’ takes you to encounter fascinating architectural icons around the world. You can try re-creating the Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower, Kinkakuji Temple or Moai Statues on Easter Island for all to admire and applaud!

nanoblocks are all about the creative construction process with rewarding sculptural results – the perfect three-dimensional puzzle! The miniature blocks connect securely to create extremely detailed objects of varying size and complexity. nanoblock™ is continually on the look-out for interesting and challenging subjects with different levels of difficulty. Once the ‘Miniature Collection’ Series has been mastered, being the easiest with 70-200 pieces, followers can then progress onto the ‘Sights to See Collection’ with 200-600 pieces. But if that is not enough, they can try the ‘Advanced Hobby Series’ for the freedom to create anything up 6,000 bricks worth of monumental accomplishment! Packs are marked with a scale from 1-8 bricks (1 being the easiest) to show the level of difficulty.

This was my first nano block, and it was a very good introduction that made me want to buy more!

It was relatively simple to build thanks to the easy to follow instructions, and looks great on my shelf!

I would not recommend the toy for any purpose other than display, however, as it is quite fragile when complete.

Like legos, but small and fun for adults! 17 Oct. 2011

As an architect who still loves playing with Legos, these nifty nano blocks were a fun surprise. Use a tweezers to make it easier. Fun for older kids and adults, and it's fun to compare with the real life version!
Weirdly relaxing 21 Jun. 2013

It's hard to explain how relaxing Nanoblocks are. They're a small pleasure, a stress reliever, and those aren't that easy to find.

One thing to think about: The package says they're suitable for young kids. The parts look like Legos, but they're very small, tiny, even. I'd think twice before giving one of these kits to a very young kid.

But I'm not a small kid, and I love Nanoblocks.
Excellent Fast Service 3 July 2013

We are going to Japan and wanted to get the kids excited about the trip. The seller said 4 weeks, but it came in less than 2. Says 12 and over, but my 8 year old could do it with nearly no assistance.
Pretty small,... 22 April 2013

I got it for a culture fair project. It is very realistic for something so tiny, but they call it "nanoblock" for a reason. It's smallest piece is about 5 millimeters!!!!! But still it is pretty good.

arrived before expected arrival date. fit was not fantastic, in fact they are pretty loose fitting. that's the price to pay for landmarks not produced by the leading manufacturer.
