I was working for a Popular High Street Book Chain when the first Booky Wook came out 3 years ago, it was a massive seller, totally underestimated initially by our lords and masters at Head Office (I think we were sent 8 copies), but turning the clock forward to today - does anyone still care? The novelty has long worn off, Brand has proved he's a terrible stand-up, the films have been largely a waste of time and he's married one of the world's most boring women (and it's being outsold - on Amazon at least - by bloody Chris Evans!) I don't know what my point is really - that there are a lot of awful pointless books heading for the recylcling plant after Xmas? Nothing new there. Just felt like sharing.
