I picked up this book at a book fair in Chicago. Norm filled this book with many amusing observations and advice for guys like us. I read it over a few days and found myself laughing out loud several times. Norm's writing and sense of humor reminds me of Dave Barry, with a sprinkling of practical advice added.

This is an intresting and often enjoyable read, much of what he has written, I have wondered about. However some parts of the book come across as having been added in to make up space and seem forced. Fortunately I persevered through them and was rewarded with some true jems.

I've met the author so I expected nothing less than a hilarious piece of work. He didn't disappoint me. If you are a guy and in the dark about women or kids this is a must read. Granted much of the content was meant strictly for amuzement, but it also hit home. Want to know what women really think? This is the book for you. This is not a self-help book but it could certainly be put under that catagory. I'm clueless about both women and children and it opened my eyes. I finally understand some of the situations I've been in and never knew what was going on. It's the perfect book to sit on the deck and have a glass of wine. That's what I did and couldn't put it down until I was finished.
