Why is the Daily Mail being delivered so late? It was always there at around 7.00am but suddenly it is getting later and later. Today after 8.30 so too late to be of any use. If it was a paper boy it would be fired!
As per Mr Richard S.Lack - Daily Mail is getting so late that, unless yo have 3G version, its too late downloading to take with you for the day. It is supposed to download by 6.30am London time according to the description. Maybe time to cancel.
I have the 3G version, although as at home using wifi. I have had a response from Amazon, they will investigate. But agree if continues will cancel..... Especially considering the numerical omissions and lack of weather, crosswords, pictures and tables. Plus I am forced to buy weekend versions for above plus the loyalty club
'E' version of National papers delivered late ??? After 7.00 a.m. ?? That would be Heaven!! The paper version in Guernsey arrives on the door step between 9.30 an 12 noon (weather permitting.) Normally the National Newspapers arrive in the Island by air at 6.15 in the morning. If there is fog or other weather complications (regular) then they are late. Last week (Feb 2012) we had no national papers for 3 days due to fog: high pressure in the channel with high sea temperatures to the south and low temperatures from the (UK) land in the north creating static fog... An 'E' version at 7 in the morning would be great!
From an ex 'Paper boy' 46 years ago who had to deliver the National newspapers to houses (In all weathers) on his bicycle as late as 9 o'clock in the evening, (10 to 16 years old ) when they arrived in the island late due to adverse weather. The round normally took 1 hour ( in good weather!). Regard todays technology as a Godsend !!!
