Kathryn Waterfield (née Dunathan) is a Florida native with a fascination for ancient Greek history. At her alma mater, the University of South Florida, she worked for several years at The Interdisciplinary Center for Hellenic Studies, a center of excellence dedicated to the advancement of studies focusing on Greek history and culture. In addition to her work at USF, from 2002-2007 she was Curatorial Assistant for Greek and Roman Art at the Tampa Museum of Art, which houses one of the most important collections of Greek painted vases in the southeastern United States. She has participated in numerous exhibitions and archaeological tours of the Mediterranean. Her most recent project is a collaboration with husband, acclaimed author and classicist, Robin Waterfield.
