This product is very handy for camping. Often in Europe you are not allowed to put up a washing line to trees/posts so this is a useful product for small items. We are often short of space so this fits flat. The downside is that large numbers of towels do not fit on the airer.
This is sold as a 'lightweight' item, it's actually heavier than my normal clothes airer. Unless I am only going to be airing knickers, there is very little room for anything else. You certainly couldn't use it for beach towels. It's quite unstable too, and any little brush against it sends it collapsing to the floor. We shall not be taking it away, and I'll just take my normal airer.
