I must admit to being a beginner with Bluetooth technology, my simple theory is if it is cheap give it a test out, if it does not work return it for a refund. So aprt from the USB bluetooth give the 3.5mm jack plug Bluetooth a try, practically every piece of musical equipment has that installed. Come back with some detail of what you want Bluetooth to do and I will offer some help.

Not sure but I think iphone uses bluetooth only for wireless headset so you would not be able to transfer files or listen to music using this dongle.
