Simply clipping onto the back of your iPad 2, the cover encases the back, sides and corners of your ipad, leaving it completely protected from scratches, dents and other damage. The precision cutouts enable full use of the iPad without having to remove the cover at any time. Your Smart Cover will fit as normal, taking advantage of the cutout down the left hand side of the cover, leaving the Smart Cover mounting point open. The back case does not in any way interfere with the function of the Apple Smart Cover.

What a great product. It looks good, it does it's job perfectly and all at a great price. (MUCH lower than many branded items out there.) It is a clouded TPU plastic, but it looks really smart on your iPad. I can imagine it's pretty protective from bumps and knocks, and it shields the aluminium back from scratches completely. It is also unique in the fact that it covers the whole back of the iPad- even the most popular case makers haven't managed to design a case, which works with the smart cover and also protects all of the corners and sides of your device. Blooming excellent. The smart cover still works well, and the 'ridge' around the face of the device doesnt affect the sleep wake feature. The stand modes still work, although the 'movie viewing' stand position is inclined at a slightly steeper angle, which makes it more difficult to watch- although that would be true for all cases of this nature. That wouldn't put me off buying it though.
One thing to bear in mind, however, is that it is very difficult to get on. It is a challenge. In haste I actually scratched the corner of my iPad, whilst trying to use a spoon to lever the case over the corner. The plastic isn't rigid, but it's hardly as stretchy as silicone. You may need to use some leverage too- just don't use something which'll leave a scratch.
All in all, I'm chuffed. I'd definitely recommend it!

I bought this cover for the unsurprising reason that I love the spiffy cover on my iPad but not so much the scratching that was undoubtedly going to scar the back of my iPad 2. I figured I'd get something cheap for a test drive and so far so great! Completely transparant it still shows off the nice apple logo while protecting the back. An additional perk is that when holding the ipad it's not so slippery so it doesn't take that much effort. Also makes the rolled up cover sit more stable.
I usually carry my iPad in my handbag and to date I've had nothing get stuck between the back and the cover, which is also good.
The magnetic cover element sits perfectly, allowing for any of the multiple cover uses. On the front when closed the cover feels a bit snug but works fine.
No reason to spend £30 on a back cover when you can get your hands on this!

I've been looking at buying this type of cover for some time from another supplier but they have always been unavailable and a lot more expensive. I saw this and thought it was too good to be true given the price but took the plunge anyway.
I'm really glad I did as the quality of the product is excellent and for the price cannot be beaten. I thoroughly recommend this to anyone with an iPad2 looking to buy this type of cover. Excellent!
