I purchased this iScoot Pink Scooter for my 6 year old daughter's birthday a couple of months ago, and she absolutely loves it, as well as most of the children on our street. It took her abit of getting used to as its quite alot longer than a normal scooter, but now she's mastered it and is never off it.
When it was delivered the box was alittle damaged however it was well packaged inside so was in excellent condition. The only down side to this product was actually putting it together, it must have taken hours, and my partner commented that he felt he had built it from scratch. The handlebars would'nt go into the frame and needed to be filed and greesed before inserting, the brakes needed to be changed over as they were assembled the wrong way round, and everything required tightening and adjustments and the tyres needed to be inflated too.The tools that were supplied werent adequate to complete all the jobs required, so I'm glad I had a good handy man at home. Im not much of a DIY woman and if I had of been faced with having to do these adjustments I do believe it would have beaten me. It had a bike stand to the front side of the scooter however this fell off a handful of times in the first week, so we took it off. it seemed to be positioned in the wrong place and got in the way as my daughter used it.
Apart from the assembly of this scooter being abit of pain, everything else about it is excellent, and I am impressed with the quality, look of the product, and value for money. Im sure it will bring many hours of fun for many years to come

I purchased this for my daughters sixth birthday, once you get it built and brakes working it's pretty good. That said the building and getting the brakes to work properly is a little tricky. My daughter enjoys going up and down the street and the other kids her age are very impressed. I would think somebody could design one with a shorter length, for pavements this one requires a wide area for turning. All in all my six year old is happy.

This is a fantastic scooter and my 5 year old daughter loves it! It is very well designed and very sturdily built.

We had a 2 wheeled scooter, with small plastic wheels, which my daughter fell off every so often when she hit a big crack or bump in the pavement. Once, she fell into the road! She ended up being a bit nervous riding on it.

This scooter however has big wheels and brakes like on a bike. The big wheels make it a much better and safer 'scoot' as it sails over the cracks and bumps on the pavements. She is a lot happier on it and the brakes are such a good idea. This scooter is worth every penny and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of buying a scooter.

Ok, my kid loves it, but I love it more ! It's very sturdy so it suitable for light weight people and it really is a smooth ride. Took about 40 minutes to put it together.

Product looks good and my daughter was keen to try it out. However,we didnt even get that far because the brakes could not be made to work properly. I think the underlying problem is the poor build quality leading to warped wheels which in turn make it near impossible for the brake pads to both let the wheels free roll and be able to brake the wheel. Am in the process of trying to return the item so could not recommend this. Real shame the poor quality lets the item down.

This scooter was bought for my 8 yr old daughter, we originally ordered a pink one but a chrome coloured one arrived which was just as good for a girl. The brakes took a bit of adjusting to get right but all is fine now. The wheels are excellent just like pump-up pram wheels. The handlebars needed heightening for her age but there is still a bit of movement left . very eye catching so all the kids in the street would want one, hence it is locked away at night lol.

This is a very good product and very easy to set up - other reviews suggested that the brakes were troublesome, but anyone who has had a bike and adjusted the brakes should not have an issue. My daughter is 6 yrs old and somewhat of a 'scaredy cat' when it comes to bikes so this was the ideal supplement for her and she loves it. She feels totally in control thanks to the brakes and because she can jump off whenever she wants; her sense of balance has drastically improved in the short time she has used it. iScoot Red Push Scooter Bike with Mini Micro Maxi Monster Wheels (12") - The ultimate Push Bicycle for girls / boys / kids and children.
The only downside is the quality of the finish of the inside of the wheels (the spokes), there were sharp bits of metal that i had to file down. Sadly i didn't notice untill after the second puncture! i would suggest you check before inflating the tires, the metal is easy to smooth out and i wouldn't let this discourage you from buying one, the rest of the scooter is clearly good quality and very strong; its a great little scooter for the price.

Despite looking good, the pink scooter requires the girls to use their foot strength to propel themselves forwards and therefore is not only good for recreation but it also keeps them fit and active which is better than spending hours in front of the TV.
