iLuv Triple USB AC Charger Travel Pack with Multi Socket Adaptor (IAD217ITL)

This has 3 USB sockets, one at 1000ma and two at 500ma. Fits Americas power sockets without an adapter and fits European and British sockets with provided adapters. I used this on a two weeks holiday where I was traveling light and it proved very handy. No need to bring separate chargers for everything just this charger and the USB leads for gadgets. I could charge my smart phone on the 1000ma socket, a kindle on one of the 500ma and an ipod on the other all at the same time. Stylishly made for a charger and reasonably compact. I'd recommend to anyone with multiple gadgets who doesn't want to carry around a bunch of chargers.

Great for charging a wide range of devices iPhone, iPad, Blackberry etc. The charger plugs into the socket so the USB ports can be at the top or bottom. This is great for those hotels where the sockets are so close to the desk that a conventional charger just won't fit.

Well I was going to return this but for the price I honestly couldn't be bothered. It got two stars in that it works (kinda) and I only really want to give out 1 star to products that genuinely do not work. It straight up refused to charge a nexus 7, tried with three different usb leads (all official charging leads from various manufacturers, including asus' official nexus 7 charger) and all charging ports on the device. It did charge my phone (old HTC desire), but even in the 'high power' 1 AMP slot it still only put the phone into USB charging mode instead of AC which is worse than useless, unlike the branded 1 AMP HTC charger, which puts it into AC charging just fine. It also failed to charge my partners phone at all (cheap Samsung, don't know the model). V dissatisfied, will not use the brand or seller again.
