This is an expensive piece of tat, while it worked, it was comfortable to wear and returned a good sound quality.
It is of flimsy manufacture, while I didn't handle it with kid gloves I did take care of it and did not subject it to any undue stress. The headpieces broke apart, I could have stuck them together with elastoplast, this would however have negated the foldable element, thus not very portable.
Stay away from them and don't waste your money.

I was pretty pleased with this product when I first got it but it broke just after a couple of days and no specially intense use. It snapped like a twig right at the foldable joint so it's really of no use to me now. A shame.

Too big for me 29 Dec. 2011

I just ordered and received these in the mail this week. I have always used the Sony sport headphones but cannot find them anywhere. These arrived and they are perfect - exactly what I was looking for. However, I am sending them back. These are way too big for my head and will not stay put even though I have the adjustable band all the way down. If you have a bigger head, these would be perfect for you. But, I have a small head and these do not work at all. So disappointed. Definitely looking for a replacement for my last pair of Sonys that just broke after 2 years of use (a marathon and dozens of half marathons). :(

Works OK--when it DOES work. 16 May 2011

    1. The headband is too big. The smallest setting is too big for my head, which I assume is average-sized. This causes the band to flop back and forth while running, with no way to tighten it.
    2. The ear"buds" are too big. They do not fit well inside my ears, which again, I assume are normal. This plus the large band makes the phones to occasionally slip out of the ear canal, making the audio unreliable.
    3. The controls don't work consistently. After hitting the skip, pause, volume up and volume down buttons more than a handful of times they REFUSE TO RESPOND. VERY annoying on long runs.
    4. The cord length is ridiculously long. This is probably because of the "add-in" feature of the phone controls, but it makes for a bulky run and heavy cord. It does come with a cord winder belt clip, which helps.

Great, big, headphones with a slightly wonky cord. 27 July 2012

Okay, so the sound quality so far is great and I really love the way they fold up and the little carrying case and accessories they come with, but there are two big drawbacks.

    1) and this won't apply to everyone, these headphones are big. I'm a male adult with a size 7-1/4 hat and I can't quite get these small enough to fit on my head. My wife, a woman of small stature (and she will tell you, of small head) has no chance with these.

    2) the cord is eccentric. The right side is much shorter than the left. This is a feature, I know, and not a bug, but since I wear my iPhone on my left arm when I run, this is highly inconvenient, in fact it means that I have to use the longer of the two cord extensions.

Oh, the cord extensions. This seems like a great idea and probably is, but the cord on the headphones is so short that the connection point hangs heavily near the right side of your chin and bangs around as you run. I've been trying to find a more comfortable configuration, but so far, I can only get to "doesn't annoy me too much."

Now, if you have a slightly larger head and keep your music/phone/'pod on the right side, none of this may be a problem and, really, they are very good headphones, even with all those drawbacks.

Does not stay on head 16 Mar. 2011

The headset is flimsy. Even adjusting the headset several times it would not stay on my head while I am driving. More annoying, the right side of the cord from the right ear is much much shorter than the left cord to the left ear. This creates a large loop below your neck instead of allowing the cord to hang downward. Along with the headset are two extension but they did not work well with me. Using the shorter extension did not give me enough length to put my mp3 player into my pocket. The other extension was too long causing excessive length of the cord to dangle.

Regarding the sound, the ear piece of the headset would not stay inside my ear canal. Most of the sound gets lost unless I hold my finger to the earpiece against my ear. I do own several headset and usually do not have this problem.

The cords coming off each of the speakers are different lengths before they combine into the single cord leading to the audio jack. The result is a feeling of different weighted objects in each ear, one very light and one not as light. To me this is pretty annoying and I can't focus on the music and whatever else I'm doing with such a strange imbalance. I really can't believe these were designed in this way. Other than that, sound quality is decent for the type of headphone.
