The first review on this site is merely personal opinion, there are some serious flaws that should worry you more. I agree that it is not entirely user friendly, however I never experienced any of the problems they complained about.

I purchased a set of these just over a year ago from a well known high street retailer and only recently started to have problems. This product stopped working after my warranty ran out, one handset lasted around 14 months and the second has just died at the 15 month point.

The base station is working fine, and lets me know when people are trying to phone, but its pretty much useless without a working handset.

I would have replaced the batteries and done some fault finding, however these phones do not take standard batteries i.e. AA or AAA. I refuse to throw good money after bad and buy expensive replacement batteries on a hunch.

I would not expect the rechargeable batteries to be so bad that they need replacing in the first year. If the batteries are not to blame then there are serious problems with these phones, either way I hope you have better luck.

Liked the style of this phone but using for extended periods is quite uncomfortable. It also broke very quickly.

Firstly, they are small for anyone with normal fingers and they have an operating system that is murky at best. But the single hardest thing is that when they start to ring you are looking for a small black thing with a quiet ringtone easily overshadowed by the base station. We actually manage to answer about one call in three.
