Bought set of these from Amazon few months ago. Don't tell you that they are made by Binatone till you get them. Handsets very unstable. Puff of wind will blow them over. Can only get about 20mins talktime out of a handset, even though its always plugged in. Can never have an interference free call.(break-up). Cost me a lot more than now. Don't waste your money.

iDect X1 Twin Digital Cordless Telephone - Silver

I nearly didn't buy these as there were on 2 reviews on Amazon which slated them but they had excellent reviews on several other sites. I'm sure the poor reviews were honest and based on those peoples experience but I took a risk & had a far better experience.

These phones look very stylish and I've found the audio quality excellent in all areas of the house. The buttons on the handsets are very small but are well spaced out so no problems in operating even with the largest of fingers. I would only say the buttons would be an issue for people with poor eyesight as the labels with the buttons are very small. Also the choice of ring tones and volumes is very limited but I wasn't expecting the choice that a mobile phone offers in this area.

In summary these are great looking phones which work really well and have good sound quality. Sure they are pretty basic in terms of features but for the price I would recommend them to anyone.

useless phone. there are 3 volumes and even on maximum, it is hard to hear the speaker on the other end. if they are unusually quiet or there is any background noise I have to put it on speaker phone and then put it right against my ear to hear!
