My old cordless answering machine had some kind of speaker issue that made it impossible to hear messages unless you had the hearing of a bat. I was looking for a replacement and this low cost option fitted the bill. Charged it, set the date/time, unplugged it to move it to the telecom point, plugged it in, had to set date/time again which I wasn't expecting to do as I set the date/time on the handset. Anyway, you live and learn. Then I tried to pair up one or more of my old handsets, hmmmm! Instructions do not cover such an eventuality, no matter, I sent a message to Binatone asking for help and got about 30 emails saying exactly the same thing. They are thorough if nothing else. Rather than you having to seek out this info elsewhere, here is how you do it:
"Hold down the page button on the base then follow the instructions from [other non-Binatone] handsets userguide. Would have been 5 stars if I could have registered the handsets without outside assistance.
In the words of David Dickinson "Cheap as chips!"
Hope this helps y'all
