I thought this was a stand alone camera. Apparently it's not, "iCAMView" is not a manufacturer, it is a brand name of a series of boxes that this camera can attach to. Quite expensive boxes, more expensive than this camera. The boxes can apparently attach to the net without a PC, but whether they will attach to a PC without the net is not so clear.I may eventually get one of the relevant boxes, if that can connect to a PC via USB (or, maybe, firewire), but in the meantime I will be looking for drivers and other software that will make this useful under Windows. The four stars are for the apparent build quality, and the probable usefulness if you do have the relevant box already. I believe it should be clearer in the product description that this not intended to be a standalone device, though I shall now be looking for software that makes it one.
