Despite the reviews i decided to buy this due to the cold snap !
Whilst heat is ok unit itself is shoddy and it does no even fit onto the holder causing it to constantly fall from the dashboard.

Maybe I was unlucky buying just as the snow and ice arrived, but surely this is why I bought two of them, one for my wife(still in the bag)and one for me. What a total waste of money. By the time the ice had started to melt on the inside, the heater was working! need I say more.

I have recently bought one of these things due to my car's own heater fan failing during the cold weather. Well what can i say, to those who have given this item a good review, you either have shares in the company that makes these, sell them your self of have an incredibly low tolerance to heat because seriously, rubbing your hands together will generate more heat, ratings wise i don't know how hot 1 BTU is but my guess is this won't even be 1, not even the heat of a candle, so for a heater for your car, camper etc etc, please don't bother, they are a waste of money

Efficiency
This product did not provide as much heat as I expected, as a result it was not effective for the purpose. After a few months the item did not work, about five months.

all i can say never again totally useless hardly any heat came out and it took ages to demist car window so that's it

Useful bit of kit
I have used this since my blower packed up and although it isn't supposed to be a substitute I fing it does what I need it to do until I can get my heater fixed
