The Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test with Conception Indicator gives you double confirmation of the result. Its Smart Dual Sensor™ not only tells you in words if you're pregnant or not, but if you are, it also shows you how many weeks pregnant you are.
*If you test before your period is due and get a ‘Not Pregnant' result, there is still a chance that you may be pregnant but that your hormone level is still not high enough for the test to detect. In clinical testing with early pregnancy samples the Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test gave the following results: 55% of women received a ‘Pregnant' result 4 days early, 86% of women three days early, 97% of women two days early and 99% of women one day early.
** Research carried out in the UK.
Easy to Read, Easy to UseDid you know that one in four women can misread a traditional pregnancy test result?*
With the Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test there's no need to interpret the lines. Its advanced digital display tells you in words whether you're pregnant or not--and if so, how many weeks--giving you the most accurate reading in early pregnancy**.
The one-step Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test is the easiest ever test. It is clear and accurate - the display will show an unmistakably clear ""Not Pregnant" or "Pregnant" result (with how many weeks) in words, which is over 99% accurate from the day your period is due. The Clearblue Brand is the most recommended by Doctors in the UK and offers the choice of testing up to four days before your period is due.

When can I use the Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test?
Clearblue recommends that you test from the day your period is due. However, Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test can be used up to four days before your period is due. If you test before your period is due and get a ‘Not Pregnant' result, there is still a chance that you may be pregnant but that your hormone level is still not high enough for the test to detect.
In clinical testing with early pregnancy samples Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test gave the following results: 51% of women received a ‘Pregnant' result 4 days early, 82% of women three days early, 90% of women two days early and 95% of women one day early.
How does the Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test work?
Average levels of hCG circulating in your body during pregnancy and after giving birth. Point 1 is Implantation and Point 2 is birth.
As soon as a fertilised egg is implanted in the lining of your womb (implantation), your body starts producing the pregnancy hormone, human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (hCG). Although the length of the menstrual cycle varies between women, many women will have their next period 12-16 days after ovulation. If you are pregnant, in most women, by the day your period is due, the level of hCG in your body will be detectable by a Clearblue pregnancy test.
If you do a Clearblue Pregnancy test and your result is 'Pregnant', your first step is to make an appointment with your doctor for advice on how best to look after yourself and your baby during these crucial first weeks of pregnancy, and also later on. If you do a Clearblue Pregnancy test and the result is 'Not Pregnant', but you still think you might be pregnant, wait for three days and test again. The level of hCG increases so rapidly that the level will be much higher three days after originally testing, and will show if you are pregnant.
The level of hCG doubles approximately every two to three days. hCG helps to maintain the pregnancy. It is thought that this is the hormone responsible for morning sickness.
Sometimes between weeks 7-12, the level of hCG peaks and then drops almost as rapidly as it increased, which is why morning sickness often drops off after the first 12 weeks or so of pregnancy.
The level of hCG then stays at a steady, elevated level for the rest of the pregnancy and for up to three weeks after giving birth. The level of hCG is elevated above normal levels for up to nine weeks if you have had a miscarriage or termination. If you do a Clearblue Pregnancy test during this time, it will be impossible to know if the 'Pregnant' result is caused by a new pregnancy or by the residual hCG from your previous pregnancy. In this situation, it is worth making an appointment with your doctor.
The Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test works by detecting the pregnancy hormone in your urine and is over 99% accurate when used from the day your period is due. You can use it up to four days before your period is due but if you get a ‘Not Pregnant' result, you should test again when your period is due. The levels of pregnancy hormone in your urine may not be high enough to be detected yet.
With a Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test, an optical reader encased in the Test Stick interprets the result for you and shows your result in words: either ‘Not Pregnant' or ‘Pregnant' with an indication of how many weeks.
The Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test is quick and easy to use, and produces a result within three minutes.
How to interpret your results
Your doctor will calculate your stage of pregnancy based on the first day of your last period. The Conception Indicator tells you how many weeks ago you conceived. Conception occurs approximately two weeks before your next period is due.
When you are ready to do your Clearblue DIGITAL Pregnancy Test, simply remove the one-piece Test Stick from its individual foil wrapper and take off the cap. With the tip pointing downwards, hold the Absorbent Sampler in your urine stream for 5 seconds. Alternatively, you can collect a sample of your urine in a clean, dry container and immerse the Absorbent Sampler in the urine for 20 seconds only.
When the urine sample is applied to the Absorbent Sampler it is detected by the test. A flashing ‘Wait’ symbol (egg timer) is shown on the Display demonstrating that the test is working correctly. Within 3 minutes the symbol stops flashing and the result will appear.
The Display will show a ‘Pregnant’ or ‘Not Pregnant’ result. This result will continue to be shown on the Display for approximately 24 hours.
