There are many different types of life coaching books and this one is written by a nurse for nurses so it may be no surprise that it gets to straight down to the point with a clear and concise style.

The premise of the book is that you change your lifestyle by making continual small changes to the way you live your life. Each area of your life is covered in a separate chapter, and unlike some other books, who give claims about instant results you are given a reasonable timeframe to gather your thoughts, make some goals and write them down.

It's a concise, well laid out book that has been very useful to me in improving my life and I recommend for anyone, nurse or otherwise, who wants to stop complaining about their life and start improving it.

Fantastic book and easy to read. It took me just one day to read it all, I was hooked! Now I will work through each chapter, as Claire recommends. It's definately a book for all nurses, because how can we care for other people in our often challenging work, if we have not learnt to look after ourselves. Claire gives a step by step guide to create a 'happier you,' by providing the reader with exercises and questions throughout the twelve chapters of the book.

A great book, small enough to go in a handbag and delve into whenever you need it. Useful, easy to read advice that will help any nurse to create a better life for themselves. Follow Claire's guidance and you will be happier - I am!
