Pricing

Professional Sellers on Amazon pay a monthly subscription fee of £28.75 per month (£25.00 for sellers that qualify for VAT-exclusive fees) per month plus a referral fee on products that sell (referral fee varies by category). If you are looking to sell only a few products or expect to have less than 40 orders a month, click here to sign up as an Individual seller with Amazon which has no monthly fee but instead a per product sold fee of £0.86. 


First-Month Subscription Free: Terms of Promotion

  1. The promotion is open only to sellers who have not previously registered as ProSellers (Sell a Lot) on Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de or Amazon.fr (the Amazon Site(s));
  2. To qualify for the promotion the seller must complete registration as a ProSeller on the Amazon Site(s) by 11.59pm GMT on 31st December 2010;
  3. If the seller qualifies for the promotion Amazon will waive the sellers first months subscription fee for the ProSeller account. The seller will remain liable for all referral and transaction fees and other costs;
  4. If the seller breaches any term of the Amazon Services Europe Business Solutions Agreement within one month of registration, the Promotion will be withdrawn and the seller shall be liable for the first months fee;
  5. The promotion is not available to new registered sellers who are connected or affiliated to an existing ProSeller.

Fees for Books, Music, & Movies

You pay a Referral Fee and a Variable Closing Fee for each product that is bought. The Referral Fee is 17.25% (15% for sellers that qualify for VAT-exclusive fees) on the product price of the item. Product price is the gross price that the customer pays for the product including any applicable taxes, custom duties and levies, however, the delivery price is not included for calculating the Referral Fee. The Variable Closing Fee is a fixed fee and depends on the product category and the destination of the product:

Referral Fees for other product categories

For the other product categories, the referral fee applies to the total sales proceeds, including the product price, all delivery and handling, gift wrap and other charges collected, including any taxes and customs duties. We do not charge a Variable Closing Fee.

Example 5:
You sell a £18.00 memory card, and also charge the buyer £2.00 for shipping. Total sales proceeds are £20.00. And you don't qualify for VAT-exclusive fees.

Example 6:
You sell a £18.00 memory card, and you also charge the buyer £2.00 for shipping. Total sales proceeds are £20.00. And you qualify for VAT-exclusive fees.

Referral fee:
7.00% for Consumer Electronics		 £20.00 x 7.00% £1.40
Total fee £1.40

Example 7:
You sell a £190.00 watch, and you also charge the buyer £5.00 for shipping and £5.00 for gift wrapping. Total sales proceeds are £200.00. And you qualify for VAT-exclusive fees.
