Ever since 1999's hit, Mr Oizo has kept a low profile, though he has kept making his crazy eletro music - and this is his latest offering.

The crazy album is mainly vignettes of music - 17 in total, which is mainly loop based acid electro, with French samples thrown in from time to time. The album seems to be more of a journey than a straight up album, but it's pretty DJ unfriendly, unless you quickly jump in an out of his tracks, or loop then, otherwise this is 45 minutes of blips, acid reflux and 4x4 beats.

The best tracks on here include Jo, with it's 70s samples, chops and Basement Jaxx-esque style; but it has this annoying unsyncopated tapping, like someone with no rhythm is trying to tap his/her pen to it. I also enjoyed Oizo's old skool look at It Takes Two (originally by Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock) featuring the vocals and rap of Carmen Castro, which takes Oizo into a more hip hop electro feel. Otherwise it's really hard to distinguish individual tracks, it's more of a journey than an album with separate tracks.

Not a bad album, shows what Oizo can do, and that he's still well into electro, but it really doesn't add anything to your musical feel of accomplishing anything. At the end of it you feel like you did at the start.

It probably grows on you in time, we'll see.
