First area to note on this microphone is that it is not a USB mic. but a 3.5mm one the USB only supplies power to the microphone nothing else so make sure this is suitable for your needs.
Taking this out of the box there is a bit of heft to this model a nice build with metal on the stem and extending up to the "gold" coloured windscreen this also has a foam cover supplied. Connection on the base is an XLR one (standard for audio equipment) and the cable measure around 2.5 metres in length. There are 2 rotary controls on the microphone body one for volume and one echo (there is no power control and most mics don't have this) it's important to remember that these are in addition to any settings you on the device you are plugged into. Even so it's possible to adjust the gain on the microphone and reverb which could prove useful.
The supplied stand is quite sturdy it folds out and the microphone sits in between the sprung loaded jaws there is a bit of foam on each side to help grip, and possibly some vibrations. There is no shock mount in the design and nor would I expect there to be (not at this price)
Little so far to fault honestly it's a solid well built microphone though a little more chubby than traditional mic's are it's shorter form factor makes it ideal for desktop use though hand holding works quite well too (it doesn't pick up much noise from the grip if you hold it steady) There is one area I would improve that is the nut that controls the tension when you adjust the position it is a screw tip it would make more sense to have a rotary one so you could adjust it via hand though it was fairly well held out of the box.Read more ›

Having reviewed on Amazon for a while I was pleased to be offered this product in return for an unbiased and independent review.
I'm heavily involved in music and when making videos, I like a to do a voice-over on certain parts. I'd just received this microphone to test so I though this would be a great opportunity.
It's simple to use, plug it into the input jack on your PC and you're away. The audio quality of what it picked up was great (so make sure you're in a quiet room as it picks up everything). I've been very pleased with this. The stand itself is very "plastic" but should stand the test of time with home use.

Accompanying this small microphone inside the white cardboard box you get an instruction sheet, windsock, mini-tripod and a 3.5mm audio / USB power (not data) cable.
With its metal shell the microphone itself has a solid build and reassuring bit of weight to it. It sports a black body with golden grill head (which you likely won’t see after you cover it with the windsock).
The detachable cable has two ends - a 3.5mm jack which fits the microphone socket of most desktop PCs and laptops, and a USB connector that plugs into any USB power source (again your PC or even a wall charger or power bank). This isn’t a USB mic and audio is only transmitted to the 3.5mm jack.
The microphone can be clamped into the included desktop mini-tripod. This basically has one height but allows the mic to be angled as desired.
This is a unidirectional mic intended to record voice and instrumental music. I'm no musician or vocalist and so won't pretend to know how well this compares to expensive professional microphones, but I can say that it does a good job of recording voice. Recordings were crystal clear with no detectable hiss - I did notice some occasional clipping but not enough for me to consider it a problem.
There are volume and echo knobs on the mic that can be adjusted as desired. I found having volume at maximum and echo at minimum worked well for me.
While I wouldn't take the word "studio" in the title too seriously, for the price this is a great little condenser microphone for those of us who just need to record voice. It's inexpensive, well made and will be ideal for video chat, gaming, podcasts or even YouTubers.

The Fifine Studio Condenser Recording Microphone is a well presented recording microphone, specially when you put the Anti-wind Foam on it, which gives to it a look and feels of an expensive piece of professional sound equipment.
It arrived well presented in a modern white box and inside it, you will find the Microphone, the user manual and other accessories like a tripod.
I use it mainly for Voip calls and home karaoke!
Build
The product looks and feels like an expensive piece of professional sound equipment and I felt that is durable and very consistent. It's a medium weight microphone for its size but its easy to transport. On the front of the microphone there are adjustment controls for the volume and echo which makes this a great piece!
Sound
After testing the microphone I can say that I have been very impressed with the quality of the sound. I tested mainly on calls via Voip, and playing around home with family, and the quality of the sound is good.
Features
There are 2 connections at the end, an USB for supplying power and a 3.5mm cable for the sound. You can use it with device that has both, such as a laptop or desktop computer.
What could be improved on this?
I don't like the fact I have to use two ports (USB port for power and Microphone port) to make it work. A battery option would be much more comfortable.
