Despite being able to watch new FG episodes on BBC3, I'll still always buy the dvds, because they never get old!

The one thing I don't like about the boxset is the false advertising that this is Season 10. Every true Family Guy fan knows that there are only 9 seasons, (Season 10 premieres on US TV on 25th September 2011). Rather than being called "Season 10" this boxset should be known as "Volume 10" as this is the 10th boxset.

To clarify, Seasons 1,2, and 3 are boxsets in their own right. The problem starts with Seaosn 4. There were so many episodes, they were all put on two boxsets known as Season 4 and Season 5 and that is when the complications start. The following seasons are broken up unevenly so when it comes to this boxser, rather than it being Season 10, you have the remaining 12 episodes of Season 8 and the first 3 episodes of Season 9 excluding Something, Something, Something, Dark Side but including the banned episode "Partial Terms of Endearment".

Apaprt from that, the episodes are great. Maybe the whole series is going a tiny bit stale which is to be expected after so long on TV but like all FG episodes, you get your hits and your misses. Either way, they're great for a cheeky, guilty laugh and how can you not love Stewie Griffin? :-)

Family Guy, if you haven't seen the early ones, then it's really not worth buying this, go back and buy at least series 1-3 before even attempting to watch this.

Family guy has been one of my personal favorites for many a year now, but I have to say, the writing is definately slipping. I understand that the writers are trying to branch out, and the fans love it as much as ever, but after watching the 150th episode "Brian & Stewie", it became blatantly apparent that it was more about keeping family guy on air and less about loyalty to the fans.

Don't get me wrong, there are still plenty of laughs on this dvd set, and it's a definate buy for those who remain loyal to the series. I just hope they manage to find something to keep it as fresh as it has been, before it turns into the stale 20-year old mess The Simpsons has become.

Yes, this is a very good DVD set and I love it. The only thing I would say is 13 episodes isn't that really much for a 3 disc set but it is still very good!

Family guy doesn't stop entertaining me. Also in this series a few hours of fun are guaranteed. My only concern is that this show is getting ruder and ruder each year, I am a bit afraid that sooner or later it'll step over the limit... It hasn't happen yet in this series in this opinion, although is getting very close in some occasions.
