I loved it. I'm a fan of Miley's anyway, but this film had some really funny parts. Usually, films like this one are pretty easy to suss out, but I have to admit the twist near the end took me and my friends by surprise (we watched it together and all failed to figure out who the bad guy was). I'd recommend it to anyone wanting something not-too-serious to watch. Enjoyable, all around.

Molly Morris (Cyrus) is not like most teenage girls, she's a P.I whose trained to spot liars & protect herself. Working alongside her flawed ex-cop father, Sam (O'Malley), they carve out a living tracking & exposing cheating husbands. However FBI agent Armon (Piven) need's someone young enough to go undercover in a sorority, and keep the daughter of a chief witness whose going to testify against a criminal, safe. He need's Mollies youthful & unique skills , seeing as no other FBI agents qualify ''they're pretty beefy & they got moustaches...and that's just the women''. And just as Mollies father get's them into financial strife, this job's promise of a cash reward, means that tom boy Molly is going to have to walk the walk & talk the talk of a sorority girl.

This film offers up plenty of fun, with a small pinch of serious investigative edge sprinkled throughout. Yes this story line has been done many times in the past, So Undercover combining a lot of them into one movie. But for me this was one of the better versions. Sure it has a cliche story & stereotypical characters, but thanks to the aid of some great writing behind it with Allan Loeb (Here Comes the Boom - Just Go With It) in particular , it manages to string you along nicely, keeping you guessing as to who the guilty party is that Molly/Brook is trying to sniff out, while having fun along the way. A pre-size zero Miley Cyrus (

I'm not really into modern teen films - the portrayed school/college culture grates on me - but I was pleasantly surprised by this one, which has rather more substance and twisting plot than usual. In fact, the college culture was used to good effect in solving the mystery, so I enjoyed that. The only part that didn't work for me was when Molly/Brook took her 'boyfriend' to task for supposedly presenting himself as someone he wasn't - what right did *she* have, under the circumstances! Overall this is a pleasant feel-good film suitable for younger viewers as well as the more mature.

Molly (Miley Cyrus) works with her dad (Mike O'Malley) as a private investigator. She was "practically raised by the Dallas police force" which gives her the superhuman skills and savvy of a woman far older. With her dad in a fix, Molly accepts a job from the FBI (Jeremy Piven) to protect a crime figure's daughter, Alex (Lauren McKnight) who may be a target.

Molly goes undercover aka "Miss Congeniality" and enters a sorority to get next to Alex. She doesn't quite fit in with this crowd of "plastics" which makes for the fun of the film. And of course Molly develops a love interest. The story has a nice twist too.

This is a fun film. The acting was a little cheesy by design. There is humor in the film, poking fun at the younger generation's language and mannerisms. Weak outtakes during the end credits. This is Miley Cyrus who is no Jennifer Lawrence and thankfully no Kristen Stewart. A film you can watch with your teen daughter and enjoy without feeling embarrassed during any scene.

Parental Guide: No f-bombs, sex, or nudity. Girls in bra tops and slo-mo car wash.

Brilliant film, so not what i was expecting, keeps you in suspence and throws you off track so all my guessing was wrong, well worth watching and at such a reasonable cost
