The latest Scooby Doo adventure might well be the best yet. The animation is faultless and the jokes come think and fast. The characterization is improving with every new release, with everyone behaving in a much more normal and realistic manner than in the past and with a lot more depth. A must watch for Scooby Doo fans. Hell, a must watch for anyone with anyone with a sense of fun in them.

i'm always on the lookout for a new scooby-doo mystery, and this one didn't disappoint. i wonder why they changed fred's parents tho, as they are now younger, power hungry executives. changed from older, chubbier characters.

Camp Scare is a brilliant story, and even as i am a 'little older' than the usual viewer even i was kept guessing until the end as to who the bad guy was.
i was surprised at the celebrities who have voiced characters, in a lot of these movies. in one dvd, Lauren Bacall and Jay Leno were two of the characters which really surprised me.

i could watch this story again and again. it's one of my favorites.

Like many an adult I grew up with Scooby-Doo, so I get as much fun out of watching this as the children do. Velma Dinkley is my first true love so how could I not watch this? Set at holiday camp this is full of the usual thrills and scares that children love, as well as having the mystery element.

Fred decides to take the others to the summer camp he used to go to, Camp Little Moose, to be counsellors. When they arrive there though they find that the place is closing down, but when three children turn up, they have to remain open. The place is a dump, and lets face it, apart from Fred everyone else would rather be at the neighbouring camp, Camp Big Moose. With a mystery to solve though it looks like the gang are staying put. It seems that the 'legends', the ghost stories that the camp owner tells to the children are coming alive, so you have a witch, an axe-wielding Woodsman, and a sea creature known as the Fishman. With the people at Camp Little Moose being scared off by these creatures, at Camp Big Moose things are going missing.

With a Ranger that takes a fancy to Velma, and Fred smitten by Jessica, a counsellor from the other camp, Daphne has her nose put slightly out of joint. But with creatures on the loose, as well as criminals, will the gang ever solve the mystery?

Sit back by yourself, or with the children and watch this entertaining piece of family fun as we follow the gang on another adventure. And Shaggy, I want to try your chilli.

My son is an avid Scooby Doo fan - but at nearly 9 yrs old I thought he may be finding the Scooby Doo plot lines and films a bit boring as he has all the films to date - but this one kept him glued to the TV on Christmas day and a repeat on Boxing Day with his 5 Yr and 3Yr old brothers both glued with him - bliss over an hour of silence and no fighting over toys.

In his words - my son said the film was "minted" "a bit scarey but not too bad" "really really good" and that he "loved it" - and I even got interested when tidying the bedroom and ended up watching the last half of the film, so I would say is suitable for all Scooby fans of all ages.

As in all the Scooby films, there is a twist at the end - and one I didn't actually see coming this time !!! will not give any spoilers away - if you like the Scooby films this one is bound to add to the favourite list - Enjoy !!

It's sometimes difficult to know what youre getting with these dvds. Scooby Doo is the only thing my 9, 7 and 5 year olds agree on (on those long car journeys) but this is a full length movie like Cyberchase, Alhoa, Where's my Mummy? Loch Ness Monster, Chiil Out, Pirates Ahoy etc, it has the same feel, the same voice actors etc. so if you have any of these your children (and you )will like this.
We bought this during the summer to add to our collection and I think it's quite a fun family film, I was happy to sit through it a couple of times. Some of the films dont follow the faeture length movie format or look a bit cheap and dated but this bang up to date and my children recommended this to a friend who was driving through France during the holidays, she said her kids loved it too.

This might very well be the best Scooby feature ever! The animation is superb (really no surprise there, but this time they really made an effort to make it look good as well as "realistic"), the story is quite.. ah.. beliavable (did I actually write that?) for a story set in the Scoobyverse, and the humour and action top notch. The film flows with a natural rhytm and doesn't seem forced at all. Small kids might get scared, as the bad guys, accompanied by the great score, are quite intense.

I am 53, by the way, with no kids. I love this stuff myself. Am an animation buff (recently became sold on Nightmare Before Xmas and Coraline, masterpieces both) so I can judge this stuff from an adult's perspective.

BUY THIS DVD OR DIE!

This is probably the best of all of the Scooby Doo films as they have thought through the script, the jokes, the monsters, and returned to the formula that made the TV series so watchable. Never mind the kids, buy it for yourself as a treat!
