This is a MUST for Laguna Beach lovers and reality TV junkies alike as Laguna Star LC (Lauren Conrad) is filmed in her college life in LA, she has a dream job, a great apartment and great friends..what could go wrong? This seasons features her hugely entertaining friends wild child Heidi and her boyfriend Jordan, Likeable Audrina and on/off squeeze Brian (Jordan's roomate) and nice girl Whitney who is Lauren's co-worker at Teen Vogue, and also Lauren's Bad boy Boyfriend Jason (also from Laguna Beach). This is a really well made show and will keep you hooked with all the dramas and going ons in LA. Once you have seen the first episode u won't be able to stop watching!!

Following on from Laguna Beach, I was dead chuffed when they announced they were doing a spin off from Laguna and I love Lauren Conrad, yes she gets involved a bit too much with things that dont concern her (more so in later series) a fair bit but she means well and shes nice. Jason is ultimate pain in the neck, not only did he cause mayhem and heartache in laguna but he seems to have developed into some sort of bossy play boy who treats Lauren like something on the bottom of his shoe when surely he needs her more than she needs him!! Wierd. Whitney Port is sweet but kind of annoying as she is just sooo nice and polite where Heidi and Audrina have a bit more about them. I think its a good show (my boyfriend cannot stand it), I think the more the series went on the more unrealistic it became and the first series seems a lot more believable. Buy it, its great for a day with a hangover!!

First of all....I'm a straight guy who likes this sort of thing. I'm a taxi driver who has a DVD player in my car so I get to watch quite alot of stuff at work and some at home.

The Hills was recommended to me by a friend as something thats quickly addictive. It doesn't claim to be the best series ever, just alot of fun thats easy on the eye and the mind. It really does remind me of Entourage (although to be quite honest Entourage completely blows most of these series/shows out of the water!), but a female version.

Ive bought all 5 series available so far but are only on series 2, at the start.

I look forward to watching another 5 episodes in a row tonight and would recommend The Hills as a show that doesn't take itself too seriously and is real fun.

I have to say thanks to Amazon for making it possible for me to collect so many of my favourite "box sets" including Gossip Girl and Entourage at really great prices. I don't bother with any other site for my DVDs anymore. They always seem to have the best price and you ALWAYS get them the next day. Great service keep it up!!

I bought this to relive my younger years, being a year younger than the cast i can relate to a lot of what they went through, moving away from home, university and relationships, first jobs. The music is the one's i had on my mp3 player at the time, they wore the fashion i wore. There weren't enough episodes for me, and not as much drama as the later series but still an enjoyable watch. I found it a bit silly when it got all dramatic and morbid because Hedi had to send out invitations at her job, we have all had rubbish jobs and i have had to do much worse things at work!. Nice to see Hedi before Spencer and the plastic surgery. I didn't intend to watch the extras, but i did, i liked them but was not interested in the cars they drive!. I'm looking forward to receiving series 2 now.

Having never seen Laguna Beach, I took the plunge and bought season one purly on seeing one of the newest episodes...I'm soooo glad I did!! It's sooo addictive! I'm still on Season 1 at the moment, but I WILL be buying the rest of them. Lauren's so sweet and Heidi is funny and kinda ditzy haha! Audrina is a bit flaky but she's adorable . Whitney is a hard working girl ad deserves all the success!
Season one sees Lauren Conrad moving to Hollywood to persue her dream of the glittzy, rich life and I hope she gets it! Her bf, Json, treats her like crap and I hope he doesn't get away with it!!!
Heidi splits from her bf, Jordan. That particular episode is so emotional. Long live The Hills!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could be considered the birth of reality T.V. for thick people, with more and more people becoming addicted to TOWIE and Made In Chelsea , this was the beginning of that style of TV show. Strangely entertaining, fly on the wall documentary full of characters that are really hard to like.I watched it and got some enjoyment out of it, it was the birth of a whole new generation of terrible MTV series. Which made everyone not in America hate Americans, with the constant obsession of looking amazing but acting like a bunch of invalids. It deserves some recognition for being the first of it's kind, but that is all it deserves.
