constructive comments, 24 Oct 2009
I am writing this review to counter balance the rather unconstructive and to be honest pathetic comments of a previous reviewer.I have pre ordered this album based on the comments of some of the greatest musicians,producers,artists and song writers who have heard and worked with Adam on his debut album.Brian May,Ryan Tedder,Rob Cavallo,Meatloaf,Max Miller,Claud Kelly,Justin Hawkins[need I go on there are many more] have all listened and worked with Adam when he was in the studio cutting the album.They have all commented on his awesome range and technical ability.The songs that have been reviewed prior to release by independant musical reviewers in America have all,bar none, raved about the tracks and the eclectic style of the album.Love him or hate him only a tone deaf homeophobic idiot could say that this guy can't sing and he screeches. He is without doubt one of the most gifted living singers of our generation. He was on American Idol to establish a fan base and raise his profile he struggled for 10 years to get recognised he is not the usual wannabe reality TV "performer". Take a leap of faith and buy this album like me on the basis that the likes of Brian May,Meatloaf and Ryan Tedder know what music is about. I have heard Adam sing Rock,Musical Theatre,Ballads and opera [he is a counter tenor and professionally trained for 10 years]never has he disappointed. He cannot be stuck in a box he is unique as will this album be as it does not sit in one genre of music. Adam is here to "Entertain Us" and I look forward to this album being the one that launches him to world success.

MY AMERICAN IDOL WINNER!, 23 Nov 2009
I bought this album today (upon the day of its release). How people could possibly review this album before it had even be released I don't know.
Anyway, getting back to the album. I have long awaited Adam Lambert's album release, Adam having been my favourite to win throughout American Idol. I love his voice, and it's so versatile. The album certainly doesn't disappoint. I would describe it as a pop/rock album. Personal favourites include:-
'Music Again' (80's style!),
'Soaked' (Anthem Style Song - Can imagine it being a film soundtrack),
'Sure Fire Winners' (Pop/Rock Song with a really catchy chorus and will get you singing along!),
'Pick You Up' (Pop/Rock Opera. Has an 80's sound, and a show tune edge to it. Brilliant song and brilliant chorus. Outstanding!),
For Your Entertainment' (Catchy Pop Song),
'Whataya Want From Me?' (Has a rock edge to it, and carries the inspirational message of 'Don't Give Up'!)
'Fever' (Pop/Dance Track. Can imagine them playing this in the clubs),
'Time For Miracles' which is the 2012 Film Soundtrack (not surprisingly!)
His album cover and artwork is certainly eyecatching! (Gothic/Spaceage/Rock style). I didn't recognise him at first (looking at the front cover), until I looked at the rest of the artwork! Adam Lambert can't really be compared to anyone, as he's so individual and unique. He has his own style, and I reckon he is destined for huge success.
Definitely one of the best albums of 2009!

If there is any justice he will be a megastar, 19 Oct 2009
Huge Adam fan and have been since I first saw and heard him. Wish the UK would give him some recognition. And ignore the people who refer to his classic rock scream as 'screeching' - go and listen for yourself and decide - his covers are all over You Tube and Time for Miracles (the track from 2012) is now available to download. So why rate an unnamed album no-one has heard a bar of yet 5 stars? Two reasons. Adam loves music and has a clear vision of what he wants to do and the courage and ability to do it. It won't be like anything anyone has heard before! And secondly, because the man could sing a take away menu and turn it into a miracle!! Can't wait!
