I bought this TV for my mother. Her spec was 'I want a sliver TV!'. Ok. search t'internet. Found this beastie. Read reviews and bought it. She only has standard Sky and a DVD player to connect. Unable to check this set out with any high def kit, but really very impressed with the picture quality. (I'd bought a Samsung about 3 weeks earlier and now I'm gutted, shoulda bought the Pana). Skin tones and detail available in the blacks really impressed me. Sound was better than I've come to expect from these slim TVs too. Nice and easy to set up. Only criticism, and its against Sky really - Had to go onto the Sky website to get the codes to allow the Sky remote to operate the TV
She's happy, that's the main thing. Service from Amazon was up to the usual speedy standard.
I'd recommend putting this set on your short list.

Agree with everything B Thompson says, TV provides excellent picture and sound quality and was out of the box and working within 15 mins. Delivered within 2 days.
