This game is the saviour of all who feel the Wii is simply a platform for family exercise games! The 2D graphics are superbly animated and give the impression your controlling a character in a Ghibli film, the Boy and Blob both move charmingly and precisely.The puzzles are entertaining and thanks to the fun nature of Blobs transformations there is scope for replay.
Anyone who is after a slice of non-violent, humourous and genuinely charming game should invest in this product and prove to developers they can take a chance and create real games for the Wii.

I received A Boy and his Blob for Christmas and it is one of the most brilliant and rewarding games I own. The art design is phenomenal, just like playing an interactive Studio Ghibli animation, and the puzzles are wonderfully thought out - everything is beautifully logical, so if you get stumped you can eventually think your way through it (not like some of the more abstruse and ambiguous puzzles in certain games). The over-riding quality is charm. I'm sure that's the last thing a lot of gamers would be interested in, but it works for me - it's the most charming game I've ever played. What's more, my 3 year old son loves sitting alongside me as I play and giggles with delight as he fathoms out the solution to the puzzles. By jiminy, it brings a tear to your eye! The only worrying thing is, given the amount I tucked away over Christmas, the game title rather too accurately describes us as we're sat there playing the game. Anyway, at the time of writing it's a tenner, and that's a steal so buy it, BUY IT NOW! If you're disappointed you must have a heart of stone.

When I saw this game I thought it could be quite fun, I was wrong ... it's fabulous! The artwork is beautiful, but not only that, it is simple to control, but not necessarily a simple game to complete. I enjoy platform games, but I'll admit I'm not the best at them, this doesn't require you to be an expert to pick it up and play, but it does require some patience and sometimes good timing, but all that comes through playing the levels and it can become addictive.

This game is easily played by children and adults alike, a must have for some simple and addictive fun for all the family :)
