Manufacturer's Description

The Guitar Hero universe is about to expand, not just with a new band or instrument - but with a whole new style of music. Never mind air guitar, now you can pretend to be a superstar DJ from the comfort of your own home thanks to the new turntable controller bundled with the game.

The basics of gameplay are still similar to Guitar Hero
The Euphoria button works just like Star Power from Guitar Hero
The turntable controller is the only way to play DJ Hero
Play in co-op mode with a friend and you can co-operate on any track

The gameplay is still similar to Guitar Hero, as notes travel around the on-screen turntable and you have to hold down the three "stream" buttons on the controller at the right time to keep the mix going. For advanced players there's also an effects dial, crossfader and the score boosting "Euphoria" button.

Created with input from top professional DJs and with the biggest range of bands and music styles of any game to date this has something to please every music fan. Whether you know how to DJ in real life or not this is now the ultimate party game.

Key Features

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, awesome, class, tremendous, unbeatable, which one do you prefer?, 12 Nov 2009
    Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: DJ Hero - Turntable Kit (Wii) (Video Game)
This game is by far the best music game i've ever played, knocking Guitar Hero right out the way of attention, and may even be THE very best game i've ever played... EVER.
That compares to Cod4, Halo 3, Little Big Planet, Super Mario Galaxy, CODMW2, guitar hero etc
First of all the music is awesome, I would buy the soundtrack if it came out on CD, most of it is alot better than the original songs, Activision, please release the soundtrack!!!!!
Second, the graphics are really superior for wii, and I think are average Xbox 360 graphics.
Third, gameplay works well and makes sence, there's a cross fader to switch between songs, an effects nosel (whammy bar, pretty much), a euphoria button (star power), and the disc/turntable which works really well and an do a full 360 degree twist (and the scratching is amazing)
Fourth, the characters, which are mostly real people, are also great graphics, Jazzy Jeff, Grandmaster flash, and Daft Punk are in there too.
    Gameplay 9.9/10
    Graphics, 9/10
    Music 10/10
    Characters 10/10
    Overall 9.8/10

    AWESOME GAME!!!
Highly, highly, highly, highly, highly, highly, highly, recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars THE party game, 4 Dec 2009
By DomUK (Lancashire, UK) - See all my reviews
    Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: DJ Hero - Turntable Kit (Wii) (Video Game)
This is a fantastic game with a great list of original mixes from a massive list of tracks. There are too many "favourites" of mine but its fair to say there arent many duff mixes.

Only slight downside is the turntable which I feel could be very easily broken, doesn't feel sturdy enough for me but thats the only negative I can think of.
If you're after a party game this festive season then I cannot recommend this game enough!
