Synopsis

Whilst on their travels searching for the elusive Clair bible, Lina Inverse and Co make a quick pit stop at Amelia's home town of Seyruun. However, this is no social call as the Slayers go about protecting Amelia's father from an unknown enemy who is targeting his throne. Once again, the heroes are joined by chirpy, yet mysterious sorceror Xellos and Lina's new arch rival - the crazy Martina who constantly plots revenge against our red haired protagonist for destroying her castle in episode 1. We also see the introduction of two sinister new faces whose intentions aren't initially clear, but they're most certainly suspicious.

This second volume of the Slayers Next series carries on an enjoyable pace and adds an air of mystery to the story as Lina and her crew go about finding out whose responisible for the attempts on Prince phils life. As usual though, there's still plenty of humour present; especially in an episode where the crew go dragon hunting in order to try some exquisite dragon cuisine. Hilarity ensues, especially when poor Zelgadis is used as a substitute anchor for their fishing boat. Furthermore expect plenty of action, including an all new powerful magic spell from our feisty, fiery headed heroine.
