Product Description

Neither good nor evil, they are life in its purest form. Vulgar and strange, they have inspired fear in humans since the dawn of time and have, over the ages, come to be known as 'Mushi'. Ginko sees what most cannot - Mushi, unexplainable forces which have alterd the course of mankind since the genesis of life. Walking quitely through nature, Ginko investigates these rare embodimets of the primeval, aiding those plagued by the supernatural phenomena which surround the Mushi for reasons yet unknown. He is a Mushi-Shi, one with the ability to peer into the places where the Mushi hide in plain site.

Synopsis

This anime chronicles several stories about Mushi, the strange creatures that have been scaring humans since the very beginning. Traveling around and collecting Mushi sightings is the job of the Mushi-master, who is finally ready to present these harrowing tales to viewers. Included here are all 26 episodes of MUSHISHI.

I really enjoyed the manga version of Mushisi, so I was eager to check out the animé. This is one of my favourites, the art is wonderful and the story is good, not your usual Seinen. The instrumental pieces throughout are really lovely. The one negative point would be that there is that they didn't animate all the chapters in the manga. I would advise watching this in Japanese with English subs to get the full experience.
