OK, so I'm a fan. I was given an advance copy of this album what seems like ages ago, and bought the album on release by the band in 2008. Now they have the backing of one of Scotland's indie labels, and clearly the cover art has been re-done.

Never mind that, it's a great album. There are some fantastic songs in it, off the top of my head I'd include Glitter Song, Fluff Girl, DIY and - my favourite - Baby When I See Your Eyes. These and other's are great indie pop/rock songs, fronted with Louise Quinn's vocals. This album has been garnering rave reviews in the indie world, and lets hope that with the backing of Neon Tetra the desrved breakthrough happens.

For anybody who appreciates good music, I urge you to buy this CD by 'A Band Called Quinn'. I came across the band purely by chance, having seen them perform as part of the futuristic adaptation of 'The Beggars Opera' at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry recently. Louise Quinn is an exceptional song-writer/vocalist and this CD provides an eclectic mix of indie, pop, rock and electro across the 10 tracks plus 3 bonus songs. My particular favourites are Bullet Or A Frend and The Glimmer Song, but it is an album that has been on 'repeat' on my car CD player since I bought it!

a top band seen them playing live at the belgrade theatere and i had a top night so all together a top album deep electronic indie . they need to realse the beggers opera stuff too.
