I typically like cheap keyboards, and this one feels fine to me. What's more, it has all of the keys I use regularly in their right places, which not all keyboards do, I've been using one prior to this with a half size backspace key, and I kept missing it, the backspace key on this one is as it should be.

A wrinkle to be aware of, apparently the thing to do is plug this in while Windows is running, so it is detected at that time, other wise, when you come to log in Windows might not recognise the keyboard (which is because it's a USB device and the drivers aren't yet loaded, nothing to do with the particular keyboard at all). If that happens, on Vista you can select the on-screen keyboard from the usability options, which are available before you log in, and enter your password on that with your mouse, then go into control panel\keyboards and look around, which "found it" for me.

Does what it says on the box - my laptop keyboard was dying and this is a great stand in for when I'm using the laptop at home. For the price, you can't beat it.

When looking for an inexpensive replacement keyboard, look no further than this one. Has everything you need and has solid design.

Cheap, cheerful and does the job perfectly. Don't pay any more and dom't waste money on wireless keyboards. You cannot beat a real wire.
