As a dimmable bedside lamp with built in radio - it does the job... and looks decent enough.

But in terms of doing all these wonderful things to your energy levels and helping you wake up in the morning, gotta say, its had absolutely 0 effect for me. I have only been using it a week so perhaps its meant to happen over time. It might also only work if you happen to be lyiing facing it directly as you wake up which you cant really control. Either way... a bit dissapointed as its pretty expensive for just a bedside lamp.

I feel like its because the wake up period is maybe too short and needs to be over longer time.

The build in sounds of nature etc arent that good either - they are blatantly on a very short repeat loop... and so it doesnt sound real at all. Basically the same bird twit can be heard every 10 seconds... its that short... it might aswell just be an alarm bipping.

As quality goes... it feels like a good quality product in its build as I have experienced with Philips though.

According to the Philips website, these replacement bulbs are available.

* For type HF3451 you need a Philips 75W E27 SOFTONE softwhite 230V T55 lamp.
* For HF3461 and HF3463 you need a Philips 100W E27 SOFTONE softwhite 230V T55 lamp.

You can buy these lamps at almost any shop that sells light bulbs.

DO NOY BUY

PHILIPS WEBISTE STATE THAT TO REPLACE THE BULB YOU NEED TO USE
100W E27 SOFTONE SOFTWHITE 230V T55 LAMP.....

THESE BULBS HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED AND YET DISPITE LOOKING, THERE ARE NO ALTERNATIVES TO PUT IN. ONCE THE LIGHTBULB INCLUDED GOES, YOUR LAMP IS THEN USELESS.
