Grindcore?

Bah,
convention is defied again, not only because labelling this sort of music comes with great difficulties but mainly because these young whipper-snappers aren't old enough to have heard half the music they're molding, reshaping and/or bastardising. The argument could be that it's all been done before or that the elemental basic structure is a cliche: underground bands have been cobbling together this sort of intelligent hardcore with a off-kilter jazz edge for ages, but this to come from ones so young is... well.. unprecedented.
It's just all so damn efficient and clean, but simulteneously grubby with a knowing dirty look - it's teen angst in an aged hindsight.

Who can this be compared to?
Dillinger Escape Plan's Calculating Infinity, slowed down a notch and given more chance to exercise their jazzy demons.

Volta Do Mar..
Maybe a slice of Botch?

There EP was amazing, and this album is just as good, maybe even better! Eva Spence has a growling monstrous voice thats just perfect <3 The electro noises are as wild as ever too, so do yourself a favour.....buy this album =] You won't regret it! =D

Rolo Tomassi's debut album is nothing that most rockers would find kind and accessible to the ear, malcolm dome of CR claims its one of this years most enticing debut's that will alienate more than it attracts well i can agree with the beginning of the sentence as im one of the alienated to start with.

This band seem to follow a trend be that of Bring Me The Horizon that makes Napalm Death look like world beaters!
