Using this now, as intended, to employ my home electricity distribution to hardwire broadband into me desktop. This enabled me to move my wireless router downstairs where I can use the BT I-Plate and move away from interference upstairs. The set-up is ridiculously easy - just plug it all in. My only criticism (which is quite important) is that the unit plug location does not look like the picture - the three pins are at the top of the unit (not the bottom) which means that if you have a low plug socket on a skirting board then you may not be able to fit the unit. Using an extension socket (which includes an additional fuse) is possible but might affect the performance (I am not sure about this).
