Review
Strutting with a c*cksure confidence similar to that of vintage gunners, Glasgow five-piece Wired Desire have delivered a lapel-grabbing four-track debut EP that brightens rocks future to an ever more dazzling degree with each successive play. Young enough not to know better, swaggering with the kind of rampant, bullish pizzazz and raw naivety that major-label A&R tampering has a tendency to smother out of existence, Wired Desire's impetuous and driving intensity slaps you insensible with its sheer desperation. A barrage of riffs grapple for space as tempos tilt toward the brink and Kieran Daly's voice the leering caw of a juvenile delinquent jackdaw with a h*rd-on wields hooks like deadly weapons. Stunning high voltage stuff; wired and very desirable. 8/10 --Classic Rock magazine
