I purchased my original SCX-4300 after reading excellent professional reviews and being lured in by the pretty high yield and low cost toner. Into the second toner cartridge, the printer started saying the toner (and any other I tried) was invalid. Samsung replaced it with the same model. This one got 'paper jams' constantly (half the time there wasn't really a paper jam) and eventually got stuck in paper jam mode despite no physical obstructions. This time, when I called up Samsung, they said I had to have my receipt (even though I had previously provided it), because my original printer was manufactured in March 2008 (I had bought the printer and registered it in September 2008). He told me I could call up Digicare and pay for servicing. I did, and the cost was I believe £143, almost double the cost of the printer!

Already on my second of these under warranty. Terrible quality product - wish I had spent more on a better model. First one the scanner broke, second one made a clicking sound and claimed to be out of toner all the time. Not good! Waiting for third one now...

Forgive me as this is my first review on Amazon, but I recommended it to a friend and he said there were some negative reviews on Amazon. I want to put this right ;-)

I was given this printer as a present and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a compact Mono Laser printer.

I have had this for over 2 months now and not had any problems with it. I regularly use this printer to print off invoice and scan in letters I receive. Not only is the print quality excellent but the scanner works a treat. Easy to setup and I was up and running in less than 5 minutes. Fits perfectly into my office at home and is nice and quite compared to my old HP printer.

Definitely a 5 star product.
