irish and thrash,this is who gama bomb are,they are trying to recreate the magic of the 80s with this thrash-tastic feast,trouble is,they dont really stand out in the way that some of the other young kickstarts do,a la evile for example.
To be fair gama bomb have some glorious riffs,the comedy lyrics are fine at first but will certainly lose their novelty in the end,my fave track on the album is 'ocp' which contains quotes from one of my fave films,robocop,trouble is,the song barely lasts a minute,a few of the tracks stand out while others all bleed into each other and identity is lost,worth a wee gamble perhaps.

from the start to the finnish, this album grabs you by the neck and does not let go, fast paced guitars, ponding bass, great thrash vocals and what for me makes a good band great, the drumming, is like a melodic hammer drill that shapes the album into a instant thrash classic.
with great song titles such as 'zombie blood nightmare' 'in the court of general zod' 'hell trucker' and 'zombie brew' you know that these paddys have a great sense of humour as well as talent. no ballads, no slow tempo just all out headbanging for about 35 mins.
then why not 5 stars, well i'd give dark angel 'time does not heal', exodus' 'tempo..' and 'shovelheaded...'5 stars, but gamma bomb are well on their way to reaching that standard, maybe the next album, i cant wait!
