Gemma Ray gives us a refreshingly new sound which has been long overdue. This album has lots of really good tracks on it and I will definitely be at her next london based gig. (come on Gemma lets have more of your gigs posted so we can come along) Her style seems to draw on the best of everything we have out there yet it also appears unique and new; her lyrics seem to be really powerful and come from somewhere deep within. Lets have some more of the same please!

Gemma Ray has got it all - The looks, the talent, the song-writing skills and the voice. This bittersweet album covers bases ranging from pop to soul to borderline experimental, without ever losing listenability. Think of old time geniuses such as Dusty and Patsy Cline and then filter that through someone like PJ Harvey and your getting close to describing her eerily magical appeal. Amy's in decline, look no further for her successor.
