Mine came with Power DVD BD for Bluray films, just make sure your pc is upto spec, (you can download Cyberlinks BD advisor to check your pc for you). Produces a clean 1080p quality output when matched with the appropriate kit.

Great little player, nice looking and works very well with XP. External power supply keeps power demands off your pc, which important if you have a high end graphics cards pulling from your PSU. All in all quiet in operation and a cheap & useful add on if you have your pc connected to a nice big LCD TV.

Vital that you run the 'cyberlink bd advisor' before purchase. Make sure that your system is up to spec as this item will not work unless it recognises that all your systems parts, ie:graphics card, driver, video driver, are blu ray compatable?

This little gem comes with the drivers onboard the drive itself and installs (in Vista-HP at any rate) in no seconds flat. I had already installed PowerDVD ultra version 9 with the result that we were watching the blue-ray version of Bladerunner within 5 min. The advice that others here have given to download "Blue-ray advisor" to check your system is GOOD advice. Every single blogg concerning blue-ray based home-theatre pcs reveals that a surprising number of people have not a clue about system requirements. Two "rules":

1. Make sure that your screen card AND your display are "HDCP compatible".

2. If your pc cannot tackle a modern computer game reasonably well it will almost certainly not tackle blue-ray. You need a screencard with at LEAST 250 Mb of its own memory and a CPU equivalent to a Pentium 4 with a clock speed of at least 4 GHz to ensure really good performance (especially if you are running Vista HP - "Aero" eats CPU capacity!

If your pc is up to it then this is an excellent product which gives you a pretty cheap upgrade for your HT-pc.
