I bought this as a gift for Christmas for my grandson age 3 - who is quite forward for his age. He loved it.... until he discovered that the button for taking the photo... is SO stiff that he finds it impossible to use it with just one little finger. And you can't use two fingers! He kept pushing hard... and of course... that pushed the whole camera off the shot he was trying to take! I tried helping him... but found that rather difficult too. Right now... his mum has put it away until he is a little bigger and stronger. Apart from that - it IS a lovely little item... takes reasonable photos... and is VERY strong. I would just advise that for the younger child with tiny fingers... you might choose to wait!
