This figure is testament to how good a job Mcfarlane have done in bringing Spartan 117 to life in 12" form - the best 12" figure I've come across! It's possibly one of the most realistic on the market. This has an impressive paint job (especially the visor) and amazing sculpting. Posability is remarkable - especially impressed by ball of foot & digits of right hand. pretty much everything is ball jointed. This figure is very solidly built and pretty heavy for a little guy! The downsides are the packaging - open faced and pretty exposed which offers minimal protection, the right hand fingers are VERY fragile and are easily ripped at the finger joints which means that he doesn't hold things well (the rifle), but can do hand signals! The rifle is also quite light and could have done with being heavier bearing in mind how heavy the figure is.

Overall though this figure is great. Fans of Halo will not be disappointed - makes a great addition to your desktop!
