I brought this album after accidentally catchinhg the Plight live. I think they're a really amazing band, who's music, in parts remind me of Clutch. This is a good thing. Greatly anticipating a full length album, and more rocking tunes.
This is not hardcore, this aint punk. It's much better than that!

Stunning debut cd that shows why this band are fast becoming masters of their chosen musical craft. They're billed as a hard core punk band yet The Plight effortlessly fashion that tendancy into a metallic tidal wave that threatens to engulf you, such is the power eminating from the band. If the idea of hard hitting punk encased in a rock-solid metallic shell appeals, you will not be disappointed.
