My first one suffered a catastrophic failure after 11 months and was replaced by the same one free of charge. After 2 months the new one is out as well not mentionning damage to clothes as well.

Stay clear, stay well clear!!!

I have had this tumble dryer just over a year. The belt broke when it was just within the years guarantee. Indesit came out and replaced the belt after a nightmare dealing with their so called "costumer care" help line. The dryer worked for just over a month then broke again. I then got a number of a mechanic from the newspaper who deals with washing machines and dryers he came out and said he was always replacing belts in indesit dryers and that they were not very good quality. At that time I couldn't afford to buy another dryer so I paid to get the belt replaced for the second time. I got about 3 months out of it and it broke again today. I've had the dryer for about a year and a half and I have had nothing but trouble and now have to buy a new tumble dryer. I will never never buy the Indesit brand again they are totally useless, have no quality what so ever and the people on the "costumer care" line could not care less. Stay well away from indesit!!!

ps I only give it one star because it you have to give a star rating this deserves no stars

I purchased this tumble dryer 5weeks ago and so far no problems at all. Its light, so easy to place where you want it, quiet, quick at drying,holds a big load and the filter is easy to get at and clean. In short, it does exactly what it says on the tin, would have no hesitation in recommending it.
