With these types of compilations I can usually throw away at least 3 of the discs because I absolutely hate them and then I end finding that I cannot be bothered with the other two discs as there are only 5 songs I like anyway - and I already have those on other compilation discs.

I was surprised that I actually found more than 5 songs on each disc that I liked. And around 2 that I had forgotten about and fell back in love with again.

Don't get me wrong, there are a few real old cheesy stonkers on the album (like 2 unlimited) - but they are actually so bad that they are now good, if only for the nostalgic value.

I appreciate that in doing a compilation you're never going to please everyone. However I actually believe the team who put this compilation together really did put some effort into choosing the songs on the discs, I genuinely believe that whoever did this album actually likes listening to the tracks themselves. Some similar albums feel like they have been thrown together by a manager with a list of copyright agreements - you know the type of album I mean.

Of course you will hate some of the songs on this disc, that's just personal taste at work, and its to be expected. So why did I give it 5 stars then? Because mercifully the production team have not committed that ultimate travesty of mixing in 10 seconds of the previous song at the start of each track, thus enabling you to make your own iPod playlists.
For that alone the album deserves 5 stars.

Almost all tracks are edit version, but the worst thing is that a lot of them are low quality vinyl transfer (you can hear it very clearly!). Bad point for EMI.

theese cds are
hits some of my old faverotes are on the cd e.g the creeps everbody dance now. this is worth the money i always dance to it and play the tracks over and over again so rush to amazon.co.uk and buy it.

If you are looking for a cheap un-mixed compilation album, move on! If you know what a good dance album should sound like, then you will cringe at how terrible an attempt this is!
